Review
Europcar was formed in 1981 as Caraïbes Car Services, which took on the international franchise in 1982. Since then they have become one of the two largest car rental companies on the island of St Barths, with around 200 cars and a staff of 15. Their vehicles are mostly the small Jeeps that are so popular in St Barths, but they have a number of Smart cars and some regular air-conditioned sedans and a few minibuses. They are open each day from 8am to 6pm.
The company has six outlets altogether. There is a booth at the airport in St Jean, so you can pick up a car on arrival if you would prefer, but there are also outlets at four of the hotels, at the Isle de France In Flamands and at the Manapany on Anse des Cayes, at the Hotel Christopher Sofitel in Pointe Milou and at the Hotel Le Toiny in the East of the island. Their main garage and workshop is in the Quartier du Roy, above the airport. |
