A St Kitts real estate company that specialises in the sale and sometimes development of land in the South-eastern peninsular of St Kitts (and occasionally in Nevis). St Kitts Realty, which is headed up by Ricky Pereira, has offices in Basse-Terre and in Turtle Bay and has sales particularly in Frigate Bay and around the tip of the island at Turtle Bay Estates.
St Kitts Realty is a real estate agency based in the North-eastern Caribbean island of St Kitts. The market has suddenly opened up on the island in recent years and there is currently plenty of investment and development there.
Headed up by Ricky Pereira, St Kitts Realty is a small company, with just three principals and offices in two locations on the island, in the main town Basse-Terre and at Turtle Beach near the southern tip of the island. Almost all of the company’s sales take place in the South-eastern peninsular, between Frigate Bay and the south-eastern tip of the island which overlooks Nevis.
The jump in interest in real estate in St Kitts can be dated largely the opening of the Marriot hotel in Frigate Bay, which put St Kitts on the map and opened up the island to a much wider market than had been the case before. While there has been some development in the northern part of the island, most of the projects are actually on the South-eastern peninsular, in Frigate Bay and beyond. Areas include Ocean’s Edge overlooking Frigate Bay itself, Sundance Ridge and Turtle Beach (right at the southern tip of the island). In fact it was at Turtle Beach that Ricky Pereira first became involved in real estate. In the mid 1990s he began to build villas in between flights as a commercial pilot, for himself and then under commission from owners. Turtle Beach Estates consists of sixty lots in all. Eleven villas have been built (out of an eventual 50 or so) and four are currently under construction.
