What is happening on St Kitts? St Kitts was one of the venues for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007. Warner Park Stadium in Basseterre underwent major renovations for the tournament and its capacity of 4000 was increased to 8200 with additional temporary stands that gave seating for around 10,000 spectators. New facilities at the stadium include a media centre and new pavilion. The island will play host to Australia in the Digicel Home Series later in the year. Please see our St Kitts Calendar of Events for match dates and fixtures.
Why not have a two-centre Caribbean Cricket experience? While you are in the Caribbean, you might want to island-hop and visit another Caribbean island. Nevis is just across the water from St Kitts and makes a delightful day trip or two-centre holiday - the sister islands are so close that you can even stay on Nevis and commute to the cricket each day on the ferry to St Kitts. Also, you might fly to the Caribbean via the nearby island of Antigua, which has superb beaches and excellent sailing. Please click on the island names below for information about cricket on other islands, or go to our comprehensive island guides for each island via the links lower down on the page.
