The Definitive Caribbean Guide is exactly as the name suggests - the definitive guide to the Caribbean, quite simply the best web site in the world for anyone wishing to learn more about or planning to visit the Caribbean.

All content in The Definitive Caribbean Guide is independently researched and written by leading travel journalists who specialise in the Caribbean and our team Caribbean travel experts.

The founders of the Definitive Caribbean Guide - James Henderson and Feona Gray - have each worked in and around the Caribbean for more than twenty five years.  Deana Bellamy and Alexander Gray, both of whom have been part of the DC team since 2004, have been associated with the Caribbean for most of their lives.  James Henderson left the team when Definitive World Guides was sold to Duncan Moss in August 2010 but his writing remains as part of the Definitive Caribbean experience. All accommodation and business reviews have been written or edited by James Henderson unless otherwise stated.

Definitive Caribbean provides independent critical opinion - whilst we accept that all opinions are subjective, our freelance travel writers draw from years of experience covering the Caribbean and are not 'tied' by any obligations or favours. In our reviews we aim to give full, fair and honest information throughout.

Definitive Caribbean gives you direct access to the best holiday providers covering the Caribbean including hotels, villas, inns, guest houses, sail/cruise, tour operators and wholesalers, airlines, car hire companies, and local organisers. You can also make direct contact with the best real estate agents.  We work closely with and are actively assisted in our endeavours by the region's tourist boards for which we are extremely grateful.  We are Allied Members of the Caribbean Hotel Association and the Caribbean Tourism Organisation.
