Style: A delightful modern holiday home built in traditional tropical style over three levels on a steep hillside. Lots of Caribbean features – pretty verandas with criss-cross balustrades and gingerbread trim, excellent indoor and outdoor living space (top level), all set in lovely gardens. Quite a classic and elegant feel inside, with some quirky touches in the decoration
The Beach: The closest beaches are Long Bay (which has some facilities) and Smugglers’ Cove. They are both over the hill on the northern side of Tortola, about 10 minutes drive away. Jacaranda has a large pool
The Rooms: 4 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, 3 on one level with veranda, 1 below with private patio and outdoor shower. All bedrooms air-conditioned with ceiling fans
Key features: Good Caribbean family vacation spot on Frenchman’s Cay. Swimming pool (11ft x 21ft). Great room leading to tiled pool terrace and covered veranda with excellent views. Covered veranda for dining. Alfresco garden barbecue area with gas grill. Fully equipped kitchen. Cable TV, DVD & VCR. CD player. Selection of CDs, DVDs, books & games. Hammock. ADSL access for laptops. Washer/dryer. Welcome meal with wine.
Children: Welcome - under 6 years by arrangement
Staff: Housekeeper service twice weekly, pool service twice weekly
