Stonefield Estate Villa Resort is a collection of very attractive villas set high on a hillside of incredibly lush tropical greenery looking across to the Petit Piton in the south of St Lucia, with one of the most dramatic views in the Caribbean. There are around 20 villas in a range of configurations (1 – 3 bedrooms), built using the best of traditional St Lucian creole style, with gingerbread trim, louvres and huge balconies. There is a central area, with pool, bar and restaurant, the Mango Tree, which looks out onto the dramatic wall of the Piton, but the 20 villas enable couples, families or friends to have some privacy within a group. Among the loveliest of St Lucia small hotels, Stonefield is very secluded and peaceful and offers independent travellers the best of the lovely south-west corner of St Lucia.
