Beach & Swimming
There is a good-sized, rectangular, salt-water pool at Villa Caribella, set right in front of the house beyond the covered patio. It sits in a large deck with excellent views out to sea.

There are a several local beaches within five minutes drive of the villa, but Grand Anse Beach is 15 minutes drive to the South West, or there is an expanse of light grey sand at La Sagesse, 20 minutes drive to the North East.

Sports & Recreation
There is a 9-hole golf course about twenty minutes drive away. Scuba diving is available through several dive shops on Grenada island, and deep sea fishing can easily be arranged too.

It is possible to arrange for a massage therapist to come to your villa.

Locality
Villa Caribella is set in the upscale residential area of Westerhall in the south east of Grenada. St George’s, the capital of Grenada, is about twenty minutes drive away. It is the prettiest harbour town in the Caribbean and well worth a visit. There are a few excellent restaurants within a short drive. The newly established Le Phare Bleu is just down the road, the Water’s Edge is not far off at Bel Air Plantation and there is a pretty dining room up the coast at La Sagesse.

Getting Around
Villa Caribella provides all guests with a complementary Grenada hire car (US$15/day extra for comprehensive insurance). It will allow you to explore the island freely and is a great addition to a stay in Grenada. You can travel to the remoter beaches and the island’s many excellent beach bars, and eat out in the restaurants should you fancy a change from villa life. You will also have to collect groceries, so we recommend a car with all villa-based holidays.

Buses do run along the main road into town, particularly in the morning (7.30-8.30am) as staff arrive at work and again in the afternoon as they leave (3-4pm), but they are infrequent otherwise and you will have to walk from the residential area to the main road. Elsewhere in Grenada, on the main road routes, the bus service is generally frequent and rapid.
