Grenada & Carriacou / Eco Resort/Camping

By Stephen Thorpe

In Grenada camping is allowed within the Grand Etang National Park, there are no official sites but it’s always best to be safe and ask a guide. There is a Rastafarian-run campsite near Crochu, St Andrew, where Organic farming is prevalent in keeping with the Rastafarian doctrine of pure water, pure air and pure earth. In the sister island of Carriacou camping is allowed on church or school property, allegedly. At Anse La Roche and Petite Carenage tents are often pitched on the beach during turtle watch nights in season.
