Grenada & Carriacou / Villa & Condo Resorts
A villa resort offers the privacy of villa life with some of the advantages of a hotel. You can be independent and self-contained, but the resort provides some central facilities, usually a pool and restaurant, perhaps watersports. There is often also a sense of community with other guests, as you meet by the pool and in the bar.
Grenada has just a few villa resorts in the typical Caribbean mould. They are mostly small and use the best of their settings in the island’s coves. Bel Air Plantation is perhaps the closest example, but True Blue also has a couple of cottages on its grounds and Maca Bana Villas also has a sense of community among its small group of houses.
