Amarillo is an attractive modern house with four bedrooms in the southwest of Grenada, with views out to sea over the True Blue peninsular on which it is set. As the name implies, the house is coloured yellow (amarillo is yellow in Spanish) and it has quite a grand Mediterranean and Caribbean style with traditional pillars, white fittings and balconies with metalwork balustrades. Inside however, the atmosphere is very much in relaxed Caribbean style, as everything is directed to indoor-outdoor living, with doors that fling open onto terraces and a pool deck right outside. There are tiled floors throughout and comfortable mahogany and greenheart furniture. The villa is in a fairly quiet area, but well positioned for activity - not far off is True Blue Bay Resort and beyond it are the beaches of the Point Salines peninsular, some of which have excellent beach bars.

Key features

One of few Grenada rental villas close to St George’s University with swimming pool, deck chairs, gazebo and outdoor barbecue. Inside there are ceiling fans throughout, flat screen cable TV, DVD and music centre, full kitchen, dishwasher, barbecue grill, laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board.

Style:

Colourful Caribbean meets grand Mediterranean style, with mustard walls and white key-stone corners and columns. Tiled floors throughout and comfortable mahogany and greenheart furniture. A number of small balconies provide privacy and shade giving a feel of serenity and calm throughout the villa.
