St Barthélemy / Accommodation
St Barthelemy/St Barths has some of the highest standard of accommodation in the Caribbean and some of the most exclusive. Even the less expensive is so sought after as it comes in such limited supply. There are no more than 25 hotels on the entire island and most have only a dozen or so room at most. Each has its own personality and vibe. You won’t find any chain hotels here or big names. Every hotel is privately owned and this individuality shines through.
There is also a small choice of private homes and cottages for visitors who want a half way house between a hotel and a villa rental.
The vast majority of visitors who come to St Barths stay in a private villa. The island has almost 500 villas available for rent. From a romantic little bolthole on the beach to an all-singing, all-dancing villa that can host large events such as weddings, these villas often showcase some stunning architecture and are available via 20 villa rental agencies.
