St Lucia / Eco Resort/Camping

By Stephen Thorpe

St Lucia, a country with marvellous scope for hiking and some interesting birdlife, has very few hotels or inns which can be truly classed as eco conscious. However, there is a luxury eco resort in development in Freedom Bay.

Camping is generally discouraged in St.Lucia, though there is an official site at Anse La Liberte near Canaries on the west coast which is supervised by a National Trust warden; twelve pitches and three tepees in a forest preserve, private beach cove and five miles of walking trails.

Please see below for our St Lucia eco resort and camping recommendations and listings.
