St Martin/St Maarten / Cottages & Apartments

Cottages are not a feature of the accommodation scene in St Martin/St Maarten but there are a number of holiday apartments and chalets available, mainly on the French side. These tend to be on the beach or within walking distance of one, and usually in a complex with a reception and possibly a shared pool and gardens. They will suit couples or families with small children and come with kitchen and laundry facilities so you can live at a more relaxed pace than in a hotel. Rental is normally for a week and in high season they tend to get snapped up by repeat visitors who appreciate their ease and simplicity.
