Journalist’s Review
Beach & Swimming
There is no swimming pool at Par-May-Las and the mecca for all beach enthusiasts is Maracas Bay. This is a spectacular forty minute drive away over the Saddle Road and taxis can be arranged through the front desk.
Sports & Recreation
Port of Spain is a heartland of sporting endeavour and two of its greatest theatres are a stones throw away from Par-May-Las - the celebrated Queens Park Oval on nearby Tragarete Road and the National Stadium, home of the Soca Warriors, Trinidads national football team.
Staff
All fourteen staff are friendly and welcoming with long serving receptionists. Courtesy is a given, with Pamela Gopee herself, the Executive Director and co-owner, fronting the administrative operation in her office by the entrance. Husband Bob Gopee is a highly respected accountant in the capital.
