Anguilla / Beach Life
Beach life is Anguilla’s heart and soul - it could be said that on Anguilla, the beach is life itself. With thirty-three exquisite white sand shores to choose from, there is no shortage of variety; from the social and family oriented, to the serene and secluded.
Life on Anguilla's beaches involves 24/7 entertainment if you wish it with your day starting with an early morning stroll and ending with a late night of dancing and ‘jamming’ with local musicians.
Between water-sports, shell-collecting, swimming, sandcastle-building, cocktail-sipping and working on that perfect tan, a day out on one of Anguilla’s beaches can certainly build up an appetite. On many beaches you’ll find casual bars offering local fare such as BBQ, fresh fish, and burgers, while some bays boast gourmet restaurants and others still are undeveloped.
Whichever you choose to visit, beaches are essential to getting the most out of your Anguilla experience.
Our recommended beach bars are listed here and a full listing will follow soon. For further reading on Anguilla's beach life you may want to read our Beaches or Watersports guides.
