Aruba / Beach Life

Aruba's beaches are famous for their picture perfect white sands and calm waters. The sea offer excellent swimming, snorkelling, surfing and windsurfing and the shores are perfect for exploring or sunbathing. There are many built up areas due to Aruba’s large tourism industry but it is still possible to find some more remote and peaceful places to relax.

Here is a selection of the best Aruba beaches -

Druif Beach - Broad stretch of brilliant white sand. The calm water provides excellent swimming and there are facilities nearby.

Palm Beach and Eagle Beach - Long superb stretches of sand on the protected western coast of the island. Gets crowded near the resorts where watersports and food and drink facilities are readily available. Two of the Caribbeans finest beaches.

Malmok Beach - Excellent windsurfing spot between Palm and Arashi beaches on the western coast of Aruba. Lots of fish make it a good spot for snorkelling. No nearby facilities.

Arashi Beach - Accessible beach on the northern tip, renowned for its romantic sunsets and white powder sand. Another popular windsurfing spot.

Boca Prins - Small strip of sand on the north Caribbean coast. Dangerous waves for swimmers but nice place to soak up the sun.

Baby Beach - Great snorkelling location on the most eastern tip of the island. Shallow water across the bay makes it a good place for families.

Palm Reef Island - Popular island east of Oranjestad accessible by the ferry from Balashi. Can get crowded but Palm Reef boasts mounds of white powder sand.
