With over 60 islands, the British Virgin Islands revolve around beach life and the stunning stretches of turquoise water that lie between them. This is a yachting paradise with a community that works around what the beaches have to offer from an  international kite jam to chill-out rum shacks. There’s a cool vibe to beach life here with everyone searching for the good life. Of course there are five-star resorts and private island hideaways, but the bottom line of beach life is to take your shoes off and have some adventure on the waves, go beachcombing or relax with a fresh seafood barbecue.

The BVI beaches have some amazing natural phenomena too including the flat stretches of wild beach on Anegada and The Baths on Virgin Gorda. Whether you want a wedding on the sand or just a cold beer, BVI beach life steps up to the mark, and some of the islands best bars and after dark hangouts are on the beach – Foxy’s on Jost Van Dyke is the yachties favourite for sundowners, Bomba’s on Appleby Bay is famous for its full moon beach parties or try the Fireball party at Trellis Bay.
