Cayman Islands / Beach bars
Beach Bars are in integral part of enjoying life in the Cayman Islands...Many hotels provide guests with one opportunity, but for a more local feel try one of the following:
Calico Jacks, Public Beach, West Bay Road - Casual beach dining and drinks on Seven Mile Beach. Regular live music and DJ nights.
My Bar, Sunset House, George Town - The place where you can play dominos with an islander or drink martini with a millionaire, the bar at Sunset House Resort is a good venue to meet residents and tourists in equal measure, and has a fabulous view of the ocean.
Macabuca Oceanside Tiki Bar, West Bay - A popular spot for having a sunset drink with live music on Friday nights and a DJ on Saturdays. It’s part of the Cracked Conch restaurant at West Bay and a popular site for snorkelling too.
Kaibo, Cayman Kai, North Side - The beach bar at Kaibo keeps pub-style opening hours (it closes at 11pm) but it’s a nice spot to sit and have a drink or a bar meal on a sandy beach overlooking the small jetty and lagoon.
