Cayman Islands / Watersports
Warm, blue, crystal clear waters have made Cayman a favourite destination for anyone who loves the sea. Catamaran excursion, wind surfing, jet ski excursions, Hobie-cat hire, water-skiing and other ocean based activities are readily available on Grand Cayman from operators such as Red Sail Sports (who operate the watersports franchises for many of the hotels).
Cayman Kayaks offer an unusual glimpse of the little known world of the mangroves. Tours visit the tranquil areas of North Sound and one of the most popular trips is to experience the bioluminescence created by plankton that turns the water into a sparkling light show.
In George Town there is the option to join the 48-seater Atlantis Submarine for the novel experience of going down to depths of about 100 feet to see the local marine life.
