Dominica / Beach Life
Dominica is a stunningly attractive island with dramatic mountain landscapes but is far from a traditional Caribbean beach destination, and the classic crescents of powder white sand are notably absent. Whalewatching and diving offshore from the west coast's black sand beaches though are globally significant, and anyone seeking somewhere devoid of mass tourism would be hard pressed to find a more natural haven.
