With 32 castaway islands to discover, St Vincent & the Grenadines beach life is the stuff of legend, with powder white sand, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and just about any idyllic beach activity you can think of. There is a serious yachting community here and it’s still possible to find uninhabited islands with deserted beaches.

On the main island of St Vincent there are picturesque black sand beaches that fringe the Windward and Leeward coasts. The most popular beaches have resorts and restaurants nearby. Head out to islands like Bequia, Mustique, Canouan and the Tobago Cays and you might find a high end beach bar and sophisticated watersports, but the main appeal of beach life here is chilling out and getting back to nature. Petit St Vincent for example, is largely ringed by white sand, so beach life is all encompassing with activities including fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking, a relaxing massage on the beach or simply sunbathing.
