'Art at the Ridge’ is a new art gallery and gift shop based at boutique hotel Sugar Ridge in Antigua. The gallery features the largest and widest range of local arts and crafts by Antiguan artists and artisans on the island. There is no shortage of creative talent on the island and ‘Art at the Ridge’ is continually increasing its portfolio of artists and artisans, with new pieces introduced regularly.
To celebrate the opening of ‘Art at the Ridge’ the gallery will be holding its first art exhibition on Friday 22nd July at the Sugar Club at Sugar Ridge. The exhibition will feature paintings by Rachel Bento, a young and very talented Antiguan artist who paints in various mediums. Some of her work was displayed at the Jumby Bay Art Show in May. This will be Rachel’s first individual art exhibition and will feature new and unseen pieces.
Boutique hotel, Sugar Ridge, benefits from an elevated position nestled into a natural hillside and offers fantastic views over the West Coast of Antigua.
