Travel options between Grenada and Carriacou:
There is one airline, SVG Air, which operates a service between Grenada and Carriacou, a journey that takes about 20 minutes. It uses 9-seater Britten Norman Islanders. The cost of an adult return ticket Grenada/Carriacou is US$80, plus US$30 fuel surcharge, plus taxes and for Carriacou/Union US$157 plus taxes. Children under 12 year are half price, as are one way tickets. You can make the reservation direct with SVG Air. Fast Catamaran
There is a fast catamaran, The Osprey, operating between Grenada and Carriacou, journey time about 85 minutes. Tickets can be purchased on the dock before boarding the boat. An adult return costs US$62 and a single US$31. Children under 12 travel half price. Please note. The crossing can be quite rough, particularly the north-bound journey from Grenada to Carriacou, so you may wish take sea sickness tablets 2 hours before boarding.

Travel options between Barbados and Carriacou:
If you are travelling to Carriacou from Barbados, you can fly into Grenada with LIAT - can be booked through your travel agent - and travel onwards to Carriacou as above. Alternatively, you can fly down to Union Island with SVG Air or Mustique Airways. The cost is US$160 per person each way. You then have the choice of flying across to Carriacou, a five minute hop, by private charter, or a 45 minute local speed boat ride which varies in price from US$40-75 per person depending on the time of day, number of people and luggage. It is not always possible to fly from Union to Carriacou on the same day, so you may have to stay overnight.
You can also take a private charter from Barbados with SVG Air, which might suit you very well especially if you are travelling with a few friends or family members.
