Trinidad / Food & Drink

By Stephen Thorpe

Eating and drinking are more a way of life in Trinidad than means of sustenance and a truly distinctive cosmopolitan restaurant scene continues to develop apace. Port of Spain is the centre of most things gastronomic, with fusion food based on Indian, African and European influences mainly, Chinese, Lebanese, Japanese too and a few more besides.

Drinking is arguably even more popular than eating, and literally anything worth imbibing can be acquired somewhere in Trinidad. You won't have to look far, that's guaranteed.

For more information about restaurants and nightlife in Trinidad, including our recommendations please select a Food & Drink category below or from the side menu.
