Dominica / Getting Around
Dominica is a rewarding island to travel around with its fantastically lush landscape that presents fabulous views at every turn. Hiring a car is the most convenient option to explore and extremely enjoyable too, but the island has its own bus service and a reasonable supply of taxis. Improved transport links have also made trips to nearby islands, including St Lucia, Antigua, Guadeloupe and Puerto Rico, easier.
For more information about local transport on Dominica, including recommended car rental companies, ferries and Island hopping options, please select a Getting Around Dominica category below or from the side menu.
