Dominica / Regional Flights

The fleet of regional aircraft criss-crossing the Caribbean helps to funnel arrivals from the region’s main hubs to Dominica. A few small regional airline operators offer regular services that flit between Dominica and Puerto Rico, Antigua, Barbados and Guadeloupe, generally enabling travellers to connect to onward services from their international flights on the same day. However, be warned, because if timings are tight, the luggage may not always make it on to the local flight, so carry essentials in hand baggage.

Local/regional airlines with inter-Island services into Dominca:

LIAT - the main inward carrier with several flights a day from Antigua and daily non-stop services from Barbados.

Winair - has non-stop flights five days a week from St Maarten and a daily non-stop service from St Lucia (George F L Charles Airport) into Melville Hall. The non-stop service due to commence in October 2010 from Antigua into Cane Field has been shelved.

American Eagle - operates a service from Monday to Saturday of less than two hours from Puerto Rico into Melville Hall. A night service is still pending.
