Grenada & Carriacou / Getting There

Grenada does not have extensive direct international air services, but there is a reasonable selection from Europe and the USA. However, thanks to a good network of local flights, if you cannot get a direct service to suit you, there are many options for transiting in the region and making the link on the same day. Maurice Bishop International Airport, airline airport code GND, is at the south-western tip of the island. The Arrivals Hall has been upgraded and there is also a new lounge for VIP travellers. There is a beach bar, the Aquarium, within walking distance of the airport, so you can get a last-minute drink on the beach after check-in. Carriacou has tiny Lauriston Airport, airline airport code CRU, just south-west of the island’s town Hillsborough. No flights take off or land after dark. Petite Martinique has no airstrip as there is nowhere on the island flat enough.

Ferries do not really come into the equation unless you are trying to reach Carriacou and Petite Martinique, where there are numerous services.
