Grenada & Carriacou / Regional Flights
The network of local flights means that flying to Grenada via one of the main hub islands is a viable alternative. Local services are often timed to coincide with the arrival of the international services, but turnarounds can be tight if there is a delay, so be prepared to abandon your luggage if necessary and clothes and your swimming costume in your hand baggage. The only scheduled flights between Grenada and Carriacou are on SVG Air, which makes the run three times a day.
Inter-island services with local and regional airlines:
LIAT - flies along the Caribbean island chain from as far north as Antigua and down to Tobago and Port of Spain. There are also plenty of connections to Barbados. Caribbean Airlines (former BWIA) has services to Trinidad, Port of Spain.
