Jamaica / Passports/Visas
Visitors to Jamaica require a valid passport and should be in possession of a return or onward ticket. British citizens must hold a full 10-year passport valid for at least 6 months from entry date into Jamaica. Canadians are permitted to enter Jamaica with a certificate of citizenship with photo, along with an original birth certificate. All American citizens travelling to or from the Caribbean will need a valid passport to re-enter the United States, and US residents must present their Green/Alien Resident Card together with a valid passport for their country of citizenship. Visas
American, Canadian, British and EU citizens do not require a visa for short stays. Other nationalities please check with your travel organiser or with the Jamaica High Commission/Embassy or Consulate within your own country.
