Saba / Regional Flights

By Nigel Tisdall

Flights to Saba's Juancho E Yrausquin Airport depart from Princess Juliana International Airport in Dutch St Maarten. They are operated in daylight hours only by Winair using a 16-seater Twin Otter. The flying time is scheduled at 15 minutes and the timings mean it is feasible to get a good taste of the island on a day-trip. Bear in mind, though, that Saba is famous for being home to the world's shortest commercial airstrip and flights may be delayed or cancelled if the weather conditions are unfavourable.
