Flights to St Eustatius’s F D Roosevelt Airport depart from Princess Juliana International Airport in Dutch St Maarten and are operated by Winair using a 16-seater Twin Otter. The flying time is scheduled at 20 minutes and the timings mean it is feasible to get a good taste of the island on a day-trip – the runway is lit and night flights are permitted.
However, flights may be delayed or cancelled if the weather conditions are unfavourable.
