St Vincent and the Grenadines / International Flights

By Sara Macefield

As one of the Caribbean’s main flight hubs, Barbados is the most obvious choice for onward connections to St Vincent and the Grenadines. It is well served by charter and scheduled flights from the UK and flights from key North American cities including New York, Atlanta and Toronto. Local departures are timed to coincide with the arrival of international flights. Alternative options include Grenada, St Lucia, or for visitors from France, Martinique. Several landing strips in the Grenadines have no lights for night-time landing, so companies will do their best to get you there before dark. However, be warned, because if timings are tight, the luggage may not always make it on to the local flight, so carry essentials in hand baggage.
