Trinidad / International Flights

Trinidad enjoys a good supply of flights from major US cities thanks to services by Caribbean Airlines, which is based on the island. There are numerous flights from Miami and New York, in particular, as well as services from Houston. There are also regular links from the Canadian city of Toronto and the UK. On arrival, international visitors can tap into the network of local flights, many of which have departures that tie in with international services.

International airlines serving Trinidad and Tobago include:

UK

British Airways flies to Trinidad from London Gatwick five times a week via St Lucia and twice a week to Tobago. Virgin Atlantic also flies to Tobago once a week from London Gatwick. Monarch Airlines flies twice weekly to Tobago from London Gatwick on their Grenada route - see Golden Caribbean.

Mainland Europe

Condor has a weekly service from Frankfurt International to Tobago.

North America

Trinidad is well served from the north, especially the southern States with American Airlines flying twice daily from Miami seven days a week. Caribbean Airlines daily from Miami and over 20 flights weekly from New York (JFK). Continental Airlines run a daily flight from Houston. Caribbean Airlines also have eleven flights weekly from Toronto, Canada.

Australasia

This is a long-haul route with flights to an American gateway, normally Los Angeles with Qantas, Air New Zealand or United Airlines then American Airlines to Miami or New York for connections to Port of Spain.
