Bahamas / Weather

The Bahamas receive a great deal of sun, so it can be hot (and with the glare off the sea it can burn you quickly too), but there are also usually trade winds which ensure that the temperatures remain comfortable. Generally the northern and western islands are cooler whereas the southern islands can get very hot in summer. Temperatures rarely go above 90° Fahrenheit. The rainy season extends from May to November, when there is a slight chance of hurricanes.
