Curacao / Medical

In a medical emergency there is a 24 hour room at St Elizabeth’s Hospital, t 462 4900. It is a modern hospital with facilities for major surgery and a decompression room in case of diving accidents.

The sun can be a potential health hazard for travellers in Curaçao. The trade winds can hide the strength of the sun’s rays and so visitors should take precautions to protect themselves and stay hydrated.

There are no mandatory vaccinations for entering Curaçao however a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required from travellers arriving from infected areas.
