Saba / Airport
Saba's Juancho E. Yransquin Airport is a charmingly minimalist operation in the northeast corner of the island. Home to the shortest commercial runway in the world, it exploits a rare stretch of flat ground on the Atlantic coast and has a small terminal with a one-window immigration counter, the handy Flight Deck snack bar, and a large red rock outside proudly inscribed with the words “Welcome to the Unspoiled Queen”.
