Tobago / Airport
ANR Robinson International Airport (formerly Crown Point), t 639 0509, airport code TAB, is located at the westernmost point of Tobago and is approximately seven miles from Scarborough the capital. There is now a new domestic terminal for Trinidad flights, leaving the current terminal for international flights only.
Airside facilities are limited. There are a couple of small duty free shops and a café within the departure lounge. Outside however, immediately opposite the main terminal building, there is mall with a tourist information office, airline offices, a bank, shops, bars and restaurants.
It is worth noting that check in opens early for most departing flights, so why not beat the queue and take the 8 minute walk back to Kariwak Village for a last rum punch or bite to eat before heading home?
There are currently no airport porters, but trolleys are available free of charge. To get around the island, we recommend Thrifty Car Rentals who have an office on the other side of the car park as you leave the terminal building.
