Temperatures in Tobago can reach 32ºC in summer. The dry season is generally Dec to May and wet Jun to Nov, with annual rainfall of around 40”. It can get quite humid in the rainy season. Tobago lies just outside the hurricane belt, and although this means that hurricanes happen very seldom, they have been known to occur in the area. Tobago was dealt a side-swipe by Hurricane Ivan in September 2004.
