Turks and Caicos Islands / Weather
The Turks and Caicos Islands enjoy almost continuous hot weather, with average temperature ranging between 85 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit from June to October, and 80 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit November to May. The regular and constant trade winds keep the climate at a comfortable level. In an average year the Turks and Caicos has 350 days of sunshine.
The land is low, so annual rainfall is less than some other Caribbean islands. There is an annual rainfall of 21 inches on Grand Turk and South Caicos, but as you go further west the average rainfall could increase to 40 inches.
Hurricanes are a possible threat during September but direct hits are, historically, rare.
