Sofia Rehn
My passion is to discover and promote the real Caribbean, beyond all inclusives and mass tourism, to convince the world that there is so much more to the region than staying within the walls of a resort. The broad range of islands and holiday options in the Caribbean is incredible and means there will be an island perfectly suitable for every traveller – we provide you with the information to decide where you are heading next!

My Caribbean favourites
A few of my favourite Caribbean experiences:
Standing on top of the Mount Scenery volcano on Saba watching a small plane successfully land on the shortest commercial runway in the world. It fascinates me how remote and inaccessible this island has been until recently, hiding from the outside world and keeping its own unique charm.
Passing through the world’s largest coconut plantation, hidden paradise bays and pastel coloured Caribbean shacks off the beaten track on the Samana peninsula in the Dominican Republic. This part of the country is still largely undeveloped and an unknown gem waiting to be discovered.
Celebrating “Old Years Night” on Tobago with the locals, dancing to soca music and drinking rum punches under the stars cheering for the future.
