Bonaire / Special Interests
Part of the former ABC Islands, Bonaire is a special municipality of the Netherlands. Its major special interest is the superb scuba diving and marine conservation efforts. There is a great emphasis on ecology both in the water and on land. This island is relatively undeveloped with small guest houses and self catering apartments. Other specialist activities are limited to horse-riding, sailing and wind surfing.
