British Virgin Islands / Special Interests / Island Tours

By Sara Macefield

It doesn’t take too long to explore Tortola or Virgin Gorda and the best way to do it by taxi. They can be hired for an island tour lasting between two or two-and-a-half hours for a flat rate of $50 for two people and $20 per person for three or more.

BVI Taxi Associations include:

BVI Taxi Association, t 494 3942

Beef Island Taxi Association, t 495 1982

West End Taxi Association, t 495 4934.

The same applies on Virgin Gorda where guided tours lasting 90 minutes cost $10 per person.  Try Andy’s Taxi and Jeep Rental, The Valley.
