Cayman Islands / Special Interests / Sailing & Regattas
Sailing in Cayman is largely restricted to chartered day sails on catamarans which visit the North Sound or visit stingray city or some of the shallow snorkelling sites on the north side of Grand Cayman. Some private charter boats will organise an overnight sailing adventure, though going much further afield is usually not economical as the Sister Islands are almost a hundred miles northwards.
Cayman is not a major sailing destination for visiting yachties, however the Cayman Islands Sailing Club conducts sailing (and windsurfing) courses for members and non-members. t. 947 7913.
