If you’re fascinated by the legacy of Che Guevara and Fidel Castro, then this is the place to come and check it all out. The capital, Havana is a great starting point with its majestic colonial architecture, fabulous music, dance clubs, cigars and rum, fifties American cars and literary trails including the hotel room of Ernest Hemingway. The colonial towns of Trinidad, Santa Clara and Cienfuegos all have masses of heritage and culture and then there are the beaches at Varadero for water sports and diving.
