Grenada & Carriacou / Special Interests / Crewed Yacht Charter

By Frances and Michael Howorth

Five star hotels, purpose built superyacht marinas and restaurants whose menus are overseen by celebrity chefs from Europe ensure that Grenada is a fabulous destination.  This island has become the place for superyachts and smaller crewed yachts to base themselves.  It is a popular turn-around spot for large crewed yachts whose charters may have started in the north in islands such as Antigua or Sint Maarten.  With regular non stop air flights to Europe it is a great place to start a crewed charter for a northbound trip.  Don’t be in too much of a hurry to leave these shores because the island and its near neighbours Carriacou and Petit St Vincent have much to offer.
