Saba / Special Interests / Solo Travel

By Nigel Tisdall

Saba is an island that will appeal to single travellers who like to go somewhere safe, quiet and relaxing. It is not a party place but if you are a diver this activity provides an easy way to hook up with both locals and fellow visitors. In addition, this is a tiny island where people are generally friendly and after a few days here it can feel like you have already met most of the population. Alternatively, travellers who are happy with their own company or perhaps like to walk, read or paint could find renting a Saban cottage an attractive option.
