St Barthélemy / Special Interests / Events

By Sara Macefield

St Barths holds a number of regattas each year: please see below for more information about what is on offer and how to get involved:

St Barths Bucket Regatta - This event has been running for 25 years and consists of three days of races each March around the island.

Les Voiles de St Barth - Held in April, this event only started two years ago and comprises four days of races, attracting around 50 racing and Maxi yachts. Ondeck in Antigua offers individuals the chance to participate in crews.

West Indies Regatta - This three-day event is held every year over the May Day weekend. Aimed at promoting traditional West Indian sailboats, it describes itself as more of a wooden boat festival than competitive regatta. It attracts sloops and schooners from other Caribbean islands and plays host to additional activities such as model boat racing, live music and film shows.
