St Lucia / Special Interests / Crewed Yacht Charter

By Frances and Michael Howorth

The newly enhanced Marina in Rodney Bay has greatly improved the facilities for superyachts and many now choose to berth here during the winter season.  Situated in the centre of the island chain at the northern end of the Windward Islands it is well positioned as a jumping off point for the French Mediterranean style Martinique and the eco friendly Dominica to the north or a short hop away from St Vincent, Mustique and the Tobago Cays to the South.  St Lucia’s International airport at the southern end of the island is well connected internationally.  Those in-the-know, request their Captain anchor at nearby Vieux Fort, making airport to yacht transfers both quick and easy.
