St Lucia is a key stop on cruises taking in the Eastern Caribbean and the island is large enough to offer a range of places for cruise lines to dock. It attracts larger ships from cruise companies such as Carnival Cruise Lines, Costa Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line which tend to dock at the capital Castries. Some of the larger deluxe lines including Oceania Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises also call here. However, smaller ships dock in Rodney Bay or Pigeon Island in the north or at Soufriere or Marigot Bay in the south.
