St Vincent and the Grenadines / Special Interests / Solo Travel
Single travellers to St Vincent and the Grenadines will discover a quieter and more rustic experience with, generally, small hotels and a more intimate atmosphere in the islands.
The key is to choose carefully as some of the self-contained island resorts are targeted mainly at couples and, in particular, honeymooners.
However, the relaxed pace of life and local flavour makes this an easy-going destination for those travelling alone who want to meet locals and explore some of the lesser-known islands in the chain.
For more active travellers, there are various opportunities to join up with groups to go sailing and snorkelling. On St Vincent itself there are some excellent hikes and plenty of less expensive places to stay.
